Hurricane In The Carolinas
Nobody expected Hurricane Helene to hit the South East as hard as it did. We’re not used to this kind of thing around here. Normally when hurricanes hit us this far inland, it’s bands of rain and light wind that create some minor damage at the most. This one was very different and caused widespread damage, power outages, and in certain places powerful flooding. Some people lost power, some people lost a lot more. I wanted to document my experience.
